Obituary
Mrs. Maria Lundeen passed away at 7:45 last evening in her home, 346 1/2
First Street, this city. She was born April 24, 1856, and came to America in
1876 and settled in this city. In 1878 she married Oscar Lundeen and the
widower and four children, Namo Lundeen of this city, Mrs. Edith McDaniel of
Kankakee, Mrs. Florence Boquist of Rock Island and Mrs. Victor Fryxell of
East Moline survive her. There are also twelve grandchildren and two
brothers, Oliver Eckstrom of Moline and Emil Eckstrom of Joslin and one
sister, Mrs.John Anderson of California to mourn her passing.
Funeral will be held from the home of her son, Namo Lundeen 348 First
Street, Monday afternoon at 2:30. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery ,
cortege to be by automobile.
